You will work in a team of specialists responsible for the thermal design of heat exchangers and other thermal components. Co-operating with our designers and specialists from various functions, you will play your part participating in new product development projects, all the way from thermal prognoses of concepts to supervising design implications on the thermal performance during the development phase and to the measurement and evaluation of the final product.
A major part of your work will be done with cross-functional project teams in which you are responsible for the thermo-hydraulic aspects. Typical tasks for you will be modeling and evaluating the thermal performance of heat exchangers, using in-house prognosis tools, CFD simulations and other analysis tools. Tasks also include planning and specifying thermal tests, as well as validating heat exchangers with respect to business requirements.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Make thermal prognoses for concepts and new products, evaluate their competitiveness, and participate in development projects.
Develop our way of working and our tools used for thermal design
Support the business divisions with thermal expertise and lead internal and external development projects.

What you know
You have a PhD or MSc in Mechanical, Chemical engineering, Engineering Physics or the equivalent, preferably specialized in fluid mechanics or thermodynamics.
