About the job

As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role coordinating local factory finance activities for Indianapolis, to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, balance sheet valuation and product cost, in a timely manner for our Hygienic Fluid Handling Product Group. You will have the opportunity to support line management in analysis and decision-making needs, KPI / P&L monitoring, and both ad hoc and routine reporting, contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is a Hybrid opportunity located in Indianapolis, IN.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Actual vs. Standard Cost Variance Analysis.
  • Standard Costing / Cost Roll; rates, standards, variance analysis, and controls.
  • Monthly Closing Routines & Reporting, incl, Journal Entries and Account Reconciliation / Analysis.
  • Maintains / implements proper inventory controls; Responsible for Annual Physical Inventory / Administration of Cycle Counts; Inventory Trend / Variance Analysis.
  • Coordinates Budget and Forecast Processes; Manages Cost Update process of relevant product lines.
  • Reviews Capital Projects, manages the budget, forecast and reporting alongside the Project Manager(s), and performs Post Project Audits; supports Fixed Asset review.
  • Supports Production Management Teams in other locations.
  • Coordinates Factory KPI’s Reporting.
  • Monthly / Quarterly Financial Reviews and Presentations (incl. Cost Update).
  • Local Financial Systems Implementation/Maintenance (incl. Y/E & periodic).
  • Experience in customer order processing including EDI transactions.
  • Domestic and International shipping and invoicing of new equipment projects and spare parts.
  • Process RMA’s and other credits as needed.

What you know:

You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or similar, with relevant experience and:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance and administration position.
  • Preferred, 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment working with cost, finance and inventory management.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Organized and works well with tight deadlines.
  • Multitasking and prioritizing.
  • Works well independently and as a member of a team.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance a plus).
  • SQL Server and ODBC.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Organized and works well with tight deadlines.
  • Multitasking and prioritizing.
  • Domestic and International Shipping documentation preparation.
