About the job
As part of the Energy Division, the Inside Sales Engineer will collaborate closely with their manager, as well as sales and technical teams, to help achieve the organisation's market objectives. Based in Camberley, Surrey you will be working in a dynamic team and have close cooperation with sales, service and our operational teams. The role requires a high level of competence with digital tools, but also requires utilising fundamental sales methods, with occasional travel to customer and company locations as required.

Key tasks include;
Actively manage and grow sales with existing customer accounts
Pursue, capture and generate additional business from new customers
Promote and sell a variety of Alfa Laval services/products to customers with existing installed base of equipment
Understand the full range of Energy products and solutions in order to identify potential growth opportunities with new & existing customers
Provide regular feedback to manager on financial performance, activity level, market conditions and competitor insight
Creating mutual benefit by delivering products and services customers prefer to their alternatives, as well as profitability for us.
Communicate financials and activities to colleagues during regular internal meetings
Close cooperation with business Divisions and support where required
Work with a CRM and Install Base systems and other programs where required
What you know
You have excellent communications skills in English (both verbal and written) and are comfortable engaging with individuals and teams at all levels.
You have sales and/or business training or experience.
You have a high to excellent level of digital competence, not only with Microsoft Office programs, but also with other communication, analysis and collaboration tools.
You have a reasonable level of Technical knowledge and understand general engineering products/services (although product training will be provided to the successful candidate).

This position is an office based/hybrid role offering 3 days in office and 2 from home.
