About The Job
This role is responsible for driving sales growth and managing key accounts in Indonesia’s food market, with a focus on starch industries, refineries, and palm oil, primarily in the Java region. The ideal candidate will leverage market analysis, strategic relationship building, and strong data-driven sales skills to promote Separation, FHT, and Fillers/ASP products while frequently traveling within Java / other islands in Indonesia.
Job Description
Conduct comprehensive market and customer analysis and mapping to identify business potential and opportunities within the food market, including starch / sugar industries, refineries, and segments of the palm oil sector across Indonesia (80% focus on Java market).
Analyze each key account to define tailored sales strategies, including relationship management (identify whom to build relationships with and why) for efficient work.
Develop a 2–4 year Key Account Management (KAM) plan by segmenting customers and prioritizing accounts.
Develop, implement, and monitor local sales activities for/with relevant key accounts or markets to achieve growth targets and business goals.
Plan and execute systematic follow-up on all relevant steps in the KAM sales process to ensure all possible business is captured.
Proactively connect and coordinate internally with Business Units (BUs), other sales managers, and teams to secure aligned customer and market strategies.
Focus on promoting and selling Separation, FHT, and Fillers/ASP products.
Frequent travel required, mostly within the Java area.
What You Know
2–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with strong local market knowledge and network with key stakeholders in the food & water sector (especially starch/sugar, palm oil & refineries) in Indonesia.
Demonstrated track record in current or previous roles.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field.
Strong data analytics skills, using both offline and online channels to grow sales.
Proactive, service-minded, strong in customer care, and quick to take action.
Good agility, problem-solving skills, responsibility, and diligence.
