Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

Background

As part of our digital transformation, over 500 digital professionals worldwide are advancing product lifecycle management, configuration, supply chain, and service capabilities. Since 2021, we have embraced the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to strengthen collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement across the business.

OneService is a key part of our service transformation. It provides a shared way of working and an integrated digital solution that brings Service Sales and Service Operations into the same page. It strengthens collaboration across Field Service and Service Centres and enables us to deliver service more effectively across Alfa Laval.

About the job

We are now looking for a structured and people-focused Scrum Master to support our teams in growing, maintaining alignment, and successfully delivering value.

You’ll join a global team of approximately 20 people working across two Agile teams. One team focuses on Field Service, supporting technicians who work directly with customers, while the other supports Service Centres, where equipment is serviced and repaired. The two teams share the same Product Owner, Scrum Master, QA Lead, and Solution Architect. As the Scrum Master, you will support both teams in their ways of working, delivery, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Product Owner defines business priorities, while you help the teams translate these priorities into actionable plans and sustainable ways of working. You will guide the teams through planning, follow-up, and continuous improvement, while helping people stay focused on shared goals and agreed ways of working.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and follow-up activities

  • Support trust, commitment, and collaboration within and between the two teams and with other teams we collaborate with

  • Establish clear structures for planning, prioritization, follow-up, and continuous improvement

  • Keep the teams focused on shared goals, timelines, and agreed ways of working

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early and support the teams in resolving them proactively

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to align priorities and proactively communicate risks to delivery

  • Coach the teams in Agile principles, Scrum, and self-organization

  • Foster open communication and an inclusive team culture

  • Encourage experimentation, innovation, and continuous learning

  • Drive long-term improvements in ways of working and team effectiveness

The role requires 2–3 days onsite per week in Lund.

Who are you

You are structured, collaborative, and confident in leading teams through change and complexity. You build trust, create clarity, and help others grow. You are empathetic and approachable, while also being comfortable challenging teams when needed to improve focus, accountability, and delivery.

You believe in self-leadership and know how to guide teams towards greater ownership without losing momentum. You know when to coach and empower the team, and when to step in to provide direction or remove obstacles.

You see challenges as opportunities to learn and grow, and you encourage your teams to do the same. You enjoy working closely with people, building strong team dynamics, and turning plans into action. Proactive and solution-oriented, you are motivated by helping teams succeed together.

What you know

  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and Scrum principles. Experience working with SAFe is an advantage

  • Several years of experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role

  • Background in IT delivery; knowledge of software development is a plus

  • Experience working with SaaS platforms is a plus

  • Experience leading global teams and people from diverse cultural backgrounds

  • Experience with change management and team transformation is an advantage

  • Strong skills in capacity planning, prioritization, and delivery management

  • Ability to navigate complexity and create structure in changing environments

  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across functions and stakeholders in a complex, global organization

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills in English

  • Experience supporting multiple Agile teams is an advantage

What’s in It for You?
