About the role

We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead and structure the commercial strategy for the Energy Equipment business across Hispanic America, with a strong focus on channel management and indirect sales.

This role will be key in strengthening and organizing our distributor and system builder network, ensuring sustainable business growth and improving market coverage—particularly in high-potential markets such as Mexico and the Caribbean.

You will lead a multicultural team and work cross-functionally with Business Units, Service, Customer Support and factories, playing a critical role in aligning commercial practices and building a scalable sales model.

This is a transformational leadership role, where success will depend on your ability to bring structure, empower the team and define clear go-to-market strategies through channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and implement the commercial strategy for Energy Equipment across Hispanic America, with strong focus on channel development and optimization
  • Strengthen and structure the distributor and system builder network, improving performance and market reach
  • Identify growth opportunities in key segments such as HVAC, refrigeration and light industry, with focus on markets like Mexico and the Caribbean (e.g. hospitality sector)
  • Drive sales performance through structured pipeline management and CRM usage
  • Lead and develop a multicultural team (distribution managers, hunters and inside sales), ensuring alignment, accountability and empowerment
  • Improve sales processes and execution, particularly in lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-quote conversion
  • Ensure value-based selling practices and sustainable customer relationships through partners
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Service, Customer Support, other BUs and factories) to ensure integrated commercial execution

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in multicultural environments

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Business or related field
  • Proven experience in channel sales / indirect sales models (distributors, system builders, partners)
  • Experience in industries such as HVAC, refrigeration, pumps, valves or light industrial solutions
  • At least 3–5 years leading teams in a commercial environment
  • Experience working across multiple countries or regional roles  
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and pipeline management (CRM)
  • Advanced English
