Alfa Laval has been present in India since 1937. It is part of the Alfa Laval Group headquartered out of Lund, Sweden, and sits within the India, Middle East, and Africa cluster. The India Corporate Office is in Pune, Maharashtra.

The factories located in Maharashtra manufactures and supplies key components and systems in Separation, Heat Transfer, and Flow technology. It is also a hub for Centrifugal Separators, Decanters, and Flow equipment delivered to the global markets from here.

The company's products and solutions are omnipresent in over 25 multiple Indian industries including food processing, dairy, edible oil processing, sugar production, pharmaceutical & biotechnology, brewery, distillery, starch, pulp and paper, oil & gas, marine and energy. Alfa Laval caters to many national and international clients based across India and neighboring countries like Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent Acquisition team supporting India, the Middle East, and Africa (IMEA). In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders across diverse functions including Sales, Service, Operations, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, and Corporate Functions to attract, assess, and hire top talent.

As a trusted talent advisor, you will develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies, build strong talent pipelines, drive employer branding initiatives, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. You will play a critical role in shaping the organization's talent strategy by leveraging market intelligence, data-driven insights, and industry best practices. The role also includes leading Young Talent (Campus) Recruitment initiatives across India and MEA while partnering with stakeholders to meet current and future workforce needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding of the business, organizational priorities, and talent markets across India, the Middle East, and Africa Region to develop and execute effective hiring strategies.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to understand workforce needs and provide strategic talent acquisition guidance.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, offer management, negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Drive high-quality hiring outcomes through structured and unbiased recruitment processes that ensure consistency, fairness, and speed.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies through direct search, networking, employee referrals, social media, job boards, and talent communities.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Lead recruitment for IT and Technology related roles.  At Alfa Laval, we follow a positive Job Rotation process and you may be assigned other businesses basis the business need.
  • Provide market intelligence and talent insights related to technology skills, talent availability, compensation trends, and competitor hiring practices.
  • Design and deliver Young Talent and Campus Recruitment programs across India and MEA, including graduate hiring, internships, apprenticeships, and early-career talent initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with universities, engineering colleges, business schools, and educational institutions to build sustainable talent pipelines.
  • Plan and execute campus hiring activities, career fairs, employer branding events, assessment centers, pre-placement talks, and engagement programs.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop annual campus hiring plans aligned with business growth and workforce planning objectives.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey while promoting the organization's employer brand.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and talent attraction campaigns to enhance the company's visibility and reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Analyze and report recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, diversity hiring, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve recruitment processes, sourcing effectiveness, and hiring outcomes.

  • Drive recruitment process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and best practices across the region.
  • Participate in and lead recruitment events, hiring drives, networking forums, and industry talent initiatives as required.
  • Manage compensation discussions and offer negotiations while ensuring alignment with internal policies and market competitiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with local employment laws, recruitment governance standards, and company policies across India and MEA markets.
  • Mentor and support colleagues by sharing recruiting best practices, market knowledge, and sourcing expertise.
  • Act as a trusted talent advisor, influencing stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and talent market insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • 5 -10 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience within multinational and matrix organizations.
  • Proven success in managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple functions, including substantial experience in IT and Technology recruitment.
  • Experience supporting hiring across India and/or Middle East & Africa markets.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Campus Recruitment, Graduate Hiring, Internship Programs, and Young Talent initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in direct sourcing, talent mapping, headhunting, and building talent pipelines.
  • Experience advising senior leaders and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and talent analytics.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits practices and experience managing offer negotiations.
