Purpose of the job

Design of steel structure and mechanical parts, according to given design guidelines, standardization or customer projects (medium level). You will be supporting AHE engineering dept for detailed GA drawing system including frame, supports and equipment, nozzles, Assembly drawings & detailed component drgs, walkways drgs, nameplate drawings & other deliverables.

Base location: Satara Factory

Roles and Responsibility           

• Create Design (drawings and details) for medium level complexity projects.

• Fulfil regulations and guidelines connected to the component and product design and market requirements.

• Ensure industry and quality standards are met.

• Plan, execute and follow up on drawings based on contract review / technical specifications.

• Develop and maintain the drawing database and tools.

• Participate in project and improvement work.

• Use calculation and drawing tools/software.

• Develop and maintain good standard solutions (standardization) together with BU.

• Coach and mentor less experienced Design engineers. Check the quality of their work and help them resolve problems and issues.

What you can be?

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 4-6 years of experience
• Experience of working on 3D modelling inventor & AutoCAD 2D
• Knowledge of mechanical transmission, Structural component & packaged equipment.
• Candidate with similar industry & equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of API 661 is preferred
