About the role

We are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to join our Food Industry division, supporting the development of direct sales of Alfa Laval products and service solutions within a defined territory and customer base.

In this role, you will work closely with customers in the food industry, learning about their processes and challenges, and contributing to the delivery of value-driven technical and commercial solutions that support their operational efficiency and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the execution of established sales processes and guidelines to promote Alfa Laval products and services within the food industry
  • Engage with customers through visits, meetings and ongoing interactions
  • Understand customer needs and production processes to identify business opportunities
  • Support the development and presentation of technical-commercial proposals
  • Follow up on opportunities and contribute to pipeline management
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams (service, technical support, marketing)
  • Contribute to commercial initiatives and team objectives

  • Strong technical understanding with the ability to translate it into commercial value

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Curious and motivated to understand industrial food processes

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical or similar)
  • Experience in technical sales is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Interest or exposure to industrial or food-related environments is desirable
  • Intermediate English level
