About the job

This is a fast‑paced, high‑impact role where you’ll help bring complex customer projects to life. As a Project Sales Coordinator, you’ll drive quotations, order management, and supply coordination for large‑scale opportunities across Alfa Laval’s hygienic valve portfolio.

You’ll translate customer needs into competitive, accurate proposals, while partnering cross‑functionally to ensure seamless execution from inquiry to delivery. This role also supports bundled system solutions, working with technical experts to deliver complete, valued-driven offerings.

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Kenosha, WI.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Review customer RFQs and develop formal quotations, translating generic or competitor specifications into Alfa Laval product configurations

  • Utilize quoting tools (CAS, OneCRM) to create, track, and follow up on opportunities to maximize conversion rates

  • Gather competitive and commercial intelligence to support strategic pricing decisions, including historical data, market conditions, and discount structures

  • Establish pricing strategies for project opportunities, collaborating closely with sales teams and the Technical Sales Manager

  • Compile and analyze project cost structures, including bill of materials, to ensure profitability and margin alignment

  • Coordinate the full project lifecycle, including vendor sourcing and quotations, purchase order creation, supply chain coordination, shipment and delivery execution

  • Manage customer communication (channel partners and end users) to clarify specifications, provide status updates, resolve issues and disputes, secure approvals and change orders

  • Work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate specifications, timelines, and delivery outcomes

  • Initiate and manage change orders, expedite requests, and delivery schedules, proactively resolving issues to meet customer deadlines

  • Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate, including order entry, billing, invoicing, and progress payments

  • Maintain accurate project records and customer files, ensuring compliance with internal processes and audit readiness

  • Support supply chain integration, including new item setup and coordination with buyers and operations teams

  • Remain current on Alfa Laval products, tools, and processes, leveraging internal systems such as Connect, Alround, and product catalogs

  • Participate in internal and external training opportunities to continuously build technical and commercial expertise

  • Support claims and warranty processes as needed

What you know:

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business (preferred), and bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales, or customer service within a manufacturing environment

  • Strong customer relationship management, even in high-pressure or complex situations

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM systems (e.g., OneCRM), and collaboration tools (MS Teams, chat platforms, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Ability to navigate internal systems and organizational structure effectively
