About the job:

As an integral member of our team, the Separation Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in creating, coordinating and facilitating together with your team, high level strategy and business

development plans for the Circular Separation Technology (CST) Service Market in the USA. You will work with different stakeholders to secure the readiness of the organization and follow the execution of the business development plan.

You will be directly responsible and a key stakeholder in Alfa Laval’s business efforts to grow our Decanters, High Speed Separators, Evaporation/Zero Liquid Discharge Systems Service footprint in the North American region.

Currently, this is a onsite opportunity located in Houston, TX.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Define the business strategy and plan for assigned area of responsibility according to Division Strategy, plan and targets
  • Develop the business by driving relevant sales and business development activities to get the customer Loyalty and satisfaction: Market Analysis, Pricing, Visits, Seminars.
  • Forecasts Sales and budget and monitor progress against objectives and financial targets to identify problem areas to improve the performance.
  • Work proactive and structured with the sales and business development in order to optimize the sales efficiency of the team.
  • Lead the sales team giving the direction and ensuring that they are performing according with the plan and the sales process, with the special focus on lead to opportunity and opportunity to quote sub-process.
  • Develop, motivate and coach direct reports to secure the development of relevant sales and product/application competencies.

What you know:

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent knowledge and experience and:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales and Leadership/People Management.
  • Ability to analyze markets, competitors, and opportunities to develop effective business strategies.
  • Skilled at coaching, motivating, and guiding team members to achieve business goals.
  • Strong at working with diverse internal and external stakeholders to align efforts and drive results.
  • Excellent at conveying ideas, presenting solutions, and building relationships with customers and partners.
  • Flexible and resourceful in navigating changing market conditions and overcoming challenges to achieve growth.
  • Experience in service, and/or heat exchange products desired.
  • Preferred industries: Chemicals, Refineries, Power, Oil & Gas
