Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

Who are you

On a personal level, you want to coach, motivate and develop people. You are a team player who knows where and how to influence the organization and your stakeholders. You are constructive and challenge the management team when you see room for improvement or new possibilities. You understand the importance of networking with both internal customers and colleagues. You are a strong decision-maker, who keeps the customer in mind and knows how to organize your work to reach set goals.

About the job

The Manufacturing Centre in Kolding covers four different production flows with about 400 employees.

As a Production Unit Manager, you will lead our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production. You’ll drive continuous improvement, foster a strong team culture, and help us achieve operational excellence.

In order to deliver superior customer experience, you:

  • Lead and motivate production teams to achieve targets
  • Optimize production processes for efficiency and quality
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Manage resources and production schedules
  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality)
  • Report on production performance and KPIs

What you know

You have a solid background in production management or a related field. You thrive on challenges, approaching them with a positive attitude and a collaborative mindset. At Alfa Laval, customer focus and continuous improvement drive our competitiveness, and we expect you to share these value.

You apply a lean, data-driven approach to identify and realize opportunities for improvement within production. Your strong leadership skills enable you to effectively manage a large, diverse team—including blue-collar workers, planners, and flow technicians. You are committed to fostering teamwork, driving operational excellence, and delivering results that support our business goals.
