About the job
As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in engaging directly with customers, making a tangible impact within the hygienic food market such as the dairy, food and beverage, pharmaceutical industry in reducing energy, water, and waste. You will have the opportunity to partner closely with our sales team to provide hygienic applications configurations and design, sizing and proposals, in addition to technical direction and recommendations on a range of heat exchanger products. You will have direct involvement in all aspects of the sales process including pricing, documentation and drawing packages and working through commercial terms, contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is a Hybrid opportunity located in Kenosha, WI
As a part of the team, you will:
Develop in-depth knowledge of Alfa Laval Heat Transfer products and capabilities.
Foster strong connections with Channel Partners, Representatives and Customers within the hygienic market to include dairy, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care industries, serving as their trusted advisor for heat transfer solutions.
Review specifications, discuss application details and needs then select, size and generate proposal for equipment recommended as solution. As part of this process you will participate in meetings, conference calls and technical presentations.
Create comprehensive, competitive proposals that include technical specifications, pricing, documentation, and equipment drawings while adhering to bid and customer deadlines.
Provide technical support and information/documentation to facilitate understanding of the proposed equipment solutions.
Deliver engaging training sessions for Channel Partners, Representatives and Customers, enhancing their understanding of Alfa Laval’s products, processes, and procedures.
Travel to Customer sites and attend trade shows/conferences up to 10-15%

What you know:
You have bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or similar with a minimum of 1 years’ experience, and:
Previous experience in technical sales, applications engineering or business development in industrial equipment or related fields.
Hands-on experience with equipment sizing, selection, and design. Familiarity with heat transfer equipment is a significant advantage.
Prior experience working with customers in industries such as dairy, food and beverage is highly desirable.
Proven ability to evaluate and prioritize opportunities while managing schedules and deadlines.
Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in reviewing technical specifications and drawings.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn and apply software tools for equipment sizing and selection.
Travel – estimated 10-15%
