APS MANAGER GKA

About the job
We support our Sales companies and Global Key Accounts with an organization of Application and Product Specialists (APS). They support the sales representatives during technical feasibility stage on customer projects, provide heat transfer knowledge on prioritized applications, with ability to withstand conversations and discussion with the R&D of the largest multinational companies.
The Manager of the APS team will have 10-12 expert resources to manage, and will also be directly involved in customer interactions.
Your role will be to:
  • Manage the team of Application & Product Specialists and secure coverage in lead generation and quotation from a technical perspective as well as strategic direction for new application development.
  • Develop strategies and focus areas, Coordinate activities with GKA&CHS , Business development, Product Management, R&D.
  • Secure competence in the team to develop new application competences
  • Planning and follow-up on the sales projects and activity level for APS
  • Develop relationships with technical offices of key customers
  • Ensure benchmarking of competitor’s technology
  • Collect data and support the technical development of products and the overall product competitiveness analysis
  • Translate market and customer demands into inputs for product and services development.
Location for the job will be in any APS site preferably in San Bonifacio  (Lund-SE is a feasible as well)
Travelling at customer and headquarters is estimated in up to 25 % of working days/year

What you know
You are business minded, and you have experience in 1 &2-phase heat transfer and an understanding of heating and cooling applications especially, but not limited to commercial HVAC&R market . You do show strong networking and leadership skills.
