About the job

We are seeking a skilled Automation & Electrical Design Engineer to join our Automation Development team within the Research & Development department at Alfa Laval Aalborg. This role focuses on our Heat and Gas products for marine vessels. Some of your main tasks include:

• Develop and maintain electrical panel standards for various products / systems utilizing EPLAN P8 software.

• Design of control panels and choosing the right components.

• Deliver solutions in line with business strategy.

• Technical assistance for our Project Engineering and Service organization.

• Handle engineering changes in accordance with the process.

• Control panel supplier alignment.

• Participate in development projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant educational background i.e. as Marine Engineer with electrical experience, electrical engineer, electrician combined with bachelor education, automation technician or similar.

• Experience with panel design and choosing electrical components.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EPLAN P8 or similar tool

• Experience with EPLAN ProPanel (or similar) and Harness.

• Experience in the marine industry.

As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
