About the job
As a Business Analyst Student Associate, you’ll turn data into insight through impactful reports and dashboards. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, automate processes, and support analytics in sustainability and operations. This role is within the Digital Enterprise team in Business Unit Decanters at Alfa Laval, where we drive digital transformation through data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making across our global organization.
In this role, you will play a key part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that help guide strategic decisions and operational improvements. Your responsibilities include:
Design and maintain Power BI dashboards
Extract, clean, and transform data (Python, Excel, Power Query, etc.)
Translate business needs into data solutions
Document data sources, KPIs, and reporting flows
Present insights via visualizations and presentations
Develop scripts or tools using Python, C#, or Power BI
Support sustainability, product management and operational analytics
Who are you
You are curious and proactive, with a strong analytical mindset and a natural drive to solve problems. You enjoy collaborating across functions, communicate clearly, and can balance attention to detail with a big-picture perspective.
What you know
You bring a foundation in data analysis and a desire to keep learning new tools and methods. Ideally, you have:
Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or similar
Skills in Power BI, Python, C#, Excel, SQL or similar tools for data management
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities
Interest or experience in frontend development/UX design is appreciated
