Alfa Laval India is looking for an Electrical Automation Engineer to be based out of Dapodi, Pune location. This position is being created to carry out electrical activities on development, standardization or customer projects professionally and to the customers' expectations.

About the job

The Electrical Automation Engineer handles hardware-related tasks within the field of Automation and IIoT.

The main tasks:

• Electrical MCC & PLC panel design & electrical diagrams in e-Plan, Cogineer layout and detail drawings for projects.
• Perform electrical calculations for panel, field cables, Power incoming sizing, heat dissipation, bus bar sizing, rittal busbar selection.
• Design of electrical panels in low voltage.
• Understanding on Motor selection & sizing.
• Develop the electrical alternative design for new product development.
• Knowledge on IEC 60204-1 is must.
• Person should know the CE, UL,cUL norms & design basis.
• Develop and update design drawing under the instruction of the project engineers and managers in line with the project details.
• Review engineering drawings analyse design and retrieve information to complete drawing, layout or design.
• Use detail drawing or engineering specifications to dimension scale etc.
• Coordinate the planning of the design activities.
• Mentoring and coaching new and less experienced colleagues

Who you are

• Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering degree
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Detailed knowledge of different designing tools ACAD, Cogineer and ePlan, P8.
• Experience with engineering drawings.
• Relevant experience with project work.
• Cross-cultural awareness.

Knowledge:

• Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering (required).

Skills:

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Detailed knowledge of different designing tools, ACAD, Cogineer and ePlan P8.
• +5 years’ experience with engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge and experience with project work.
• Cross-cultural awareness.
