About the job

Do you combine commercial drive with process engineering expertise? Are you interested in beverage applications such as fruit processing, coffee and tea production, or wine making? Join Alfa Laval and help shape the future of our global beverage business.

Business Unit Separation Technologies (SET) is responsible for the sales of Decanters and High Speed Separator systems in the Food & Pharma Division. In this global role, you will drive the global decanter sales in the beverage industries and support Alfa Laval sales companies with commercial, technical and application expertise.

You will work closely with local sales teams, participate in customer visits, provide technical guidance, and support the sales process from opportunity to order closure.

The position is based in Flemingsberg and includes regular travelling, approximately 70–100 days per year.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Support Sales Companies (SCs) in generating demand and developing qualified opportunities for Alfa Laval decanter solutions

  • Provide commercial support throughout the quotation process, including quote-to-win strategies and sales enablement activities

  • Support regional sales and business development plans across markets and applications

  • Develop and maintain sales tools, communication materials, pricing tools, and customer value propositions

  • Act as the commercial focal point for decanter sales within beverage applications

  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities to support growth and innovation

  • Monitor commercial performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), pipeline management, and sales follow-up activities

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Service, and Sales Companies to support product launches and strengthen cross-functional cooperation

  • Contribute to product improvements and new product development based on customer insights and market feedback

  • Maintain accurate customer relationship management (CRM) data and commercial information in relevant systems

  • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across teams and regions

Who you are

You have a strong commercial mindset combined with technical interest and experience. Knowledge of the beverage industry, or a genuine interest in beverage applications, will help you succeed in this role.

You enjoy working with different types of customers and stakeholders. Some customers have deep engineering expertise, while others come from operational or agricultural backgrounds. You communicate confidently and build strong relationships across cultures and functions.

You are proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented. You enjoy identifying opportunities, solving problems and supporting customers with value-adding solutions.

We believe you have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field

  • Experience in process engineering and hands-on technical work

  • Good understanding of commercial processes and customer needs

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Fluency in English.

  • Experience in decanters and beverage applications

What you know

You are curious, customer-focused, and motivated by continuous improvement. You adapt quickly to changing market conditions and respond efficiently to customer requests and business opportunities.

You work comfortably with customers and colleagues at all levels, both locally and globally. You combine technical understanding with commercial awareness and contribute to sustainable business growth.

You are organized, data-driven, and able to prioritize effectively. You understand commercial discussions, pricing principles, and contract basics. Most importantly, you are a collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others and creating long-term customer value.

What’s in it for you?

We offer a challenging position in an open and innovative environment where we help each other develop and create value and deliver the #1 experience to our customers. Your work will have a true impact on a sustainable future and Alfa Laval’s future success.
