The position / About the Job:

Responsible for selling Alfa Laval transactional products and services within the assigned area of responsibility and providing direct support to customers.

Key Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Handle customer RFQs for spare parts and prepare accurate, competitive quotations.
  • Review customer requirements and identify the correct spare parts based on equipment specifications.
  • Coordinate with technical support, supply chain, and pricing teams to ensure timely and accurate quotations.
  • Follow up on submitted quotations to maximize order conversion.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to pricing, availability, lead times, and order status.
  • Maintain and update quotation records, customer data, and sales activities in ERP/CRM systems.
  • Support the external sales team in achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and commercial terms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive communication.
  • Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.

As a person, you are customer oriented, a team player, outgoing, proactive with a willingness to learn & collaborate with associated stakeholders. You are structured in your approach & comfortable with working on multiple overlapping assignments. You have a discerning eye for the details as well as able to have a holistic view of the situation.

Educational Qualification

Graduate/Diploma -Mechanical/Electrical, Business Administration (Preferably in Sales & Marketing)

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, quotation management, or customer support, preferably in the process industry.
  • Experience in handling spare parts quotations/RFQs for food, pharmaceutical, dairy, beverage, or related industries is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.
