Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering smarter ways to drive profitable growth and unlock the full potential of our business. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop data-driven strategies that strengthen competitiveness and support long-term success.
As we move forward, the innovative and collaborative spirit that defines our culture also fuels our personal growth. By shaping more efficient and sustainable business models, we build strong careers and create lasting impact.
As a global leader in Hygienic Fluid Handling and Heat Transfer, we help industries use resources more efficiently every day. Our technologies support critical sectors including food, water, energy, pharmaceuticals, and marine applications — where safety, reliability, and environmental responsibility matter most.
Now, we are looking for an experienced Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Specialist to help shape the next phase of our sustainability journey.
About the Role
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a systematic method for evaluating the environmental impacts associated with all stages of a product’s life—from raw material extraction, manufacturing, and distribution, to use, recycling, and final disposal. By quantifying resource use, emissions, and potential environmental effects, LCA provides a comprehensive view of a product’s environmental footprint. This enables organizations to make informed decisions that reduce negative impacts, improve sustainability, and support transparent communication with stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to influence both strategy and innovation at a global company committed to Pioneering Positive Impact.
You will lead advanced LCA initiatives across our product portfolio and help turn sustainability insights into measurable business value. Working closely with colleagues across Research & Development (R&D), operations, marketing, and product management, you will support smarter decisions that reduce environmental impact while strengthening customer value.
You will also play an important role in communicating our sustainability performance to customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
What You Will Do
Lead complex Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) projects across multiple product areas
Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with business priorities
Translate LCA insights into actionable recommendations for product development and operations
Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sourcing, and manufacturing teams
Communicate environmental impact data and sustainability initiatives clearly and confidently
Support customer discussions and contribute to sustainability-related business opportunities
Represent Alfa Laval in industry forums, conferences, and customer meetings
Mentor and support junior LCA practitioners and help build internal capability
Contribute to the continuous development of our sustainability methodologies and tools
Who You Are
You combine deep technical expertise with strong business understanding. You enjoy working across teams, influencing decisions, and turning complex sustainability data into practical action.
You are curious, collaborative, and motivated by creating long-term positive impact.

Experience from fluid handling, heat transfer, process industries, or related sectors is highly valued
