About the job:

Team Leadership and Development
- Direct hiring, training, and performance evaluations of supply chain and production staff.
- Foster team management and development, including competence and behavior improvement.

Performance Management
- Oversee unit performance, including financial KPIs such as safety, quality, IDS, obsolescence, DOT, order fulfillment lead-time and etc.
- Set and monitor targets aligned with factory priorities and operational plans.

ALPS Implementation
- Secure ALPS Implementation, including Lean Six Sigma and 5S.
- Drive and lead Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement activities and secure the result.

Process Optimization
- Standardize, optimize, and monitor supply chain and production processes in accordance with approved SOPs and continuous improvement.

Order and Inventory Management
- Manage order handling by ensuring timely and accurate communication with customers and coordinating settlements.
- Conduct daily inventory reviews, manage stocktaking, and oversee inventory classifications (ABC) and schedules.

Planning and Forecasting
- Analyze supply requirements and review forecasts with suppliers and production management to establish material schedules.
- Collaborate on production data analysis to ensure efficient operations.

Material Purchasing and Supplier Development
- Monitor supply chain performance and establish metrics for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Support supplier development activities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Communication and Collaboration
- Build and maintain positive relationships within the factory, global business unit, and with external stakeholders.
- Collaborate across departments to identify issues and implement solutions.

Documentation and Reporting
- Ensure effective document control and generate reports for management.
- Maintain detailed records and develop analytics to support decision-making.

Sustainability and Compliance
- Review and update supply chain practices in alignment with environmental policies and regulations.
- Ensure the organization acting according to Alfalaval’s Business Principle and Compliance requirements

What you know:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Above 5 years of relevant leadership and management experience in a production / manufacturing environment, preferably in multinational companies.
