About the job
As our new Project Manager in Business Process Management, your primary mission is to lead strategic projects that improve our business processes. You will focus on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality outcomes in business processes in various areas of the Business Unit – and sometimes even beyond. Your role is crucial in adapting our processes to meet the evolving needs of our customers and the changes in our internal and external landscape. Additionally, as we drive our digital strategy forward, you will lead projects focused on integrating new digital solutions or systems into our business processes.
Your key tasks as a Project Manager involve:
Planning and leading projects from scoping, through execution to the final closure and handover to Process Owner(s) and relevant teams.
Developing new or existing processes as part of your projects and documenting these in our Quality Management System.
Coordinating cross-functional project teams that bring together people from different disciplines (e.g. Sales, Engineering, Operations, R&D).
Ensuring adherence to budgetary measures and agreed deadlines within projects.
Identifying and managing project dependencies and risks.
Reporting and discussing project progress and risks with the Steering Committee.
Ensuring alignment in projects and processes with Business Unit and corporate guidelines.
Being part of the project portfolio planning and supporting the Project Portfolio Manager in evaluating, prioritizing, and aligning projects within the portfolio.
Contributing to development of best practice project management by sharing knowledge and collaborating with fellow project managers across the Business Unit.
Facilitate bi-monthly Continuous Improvement meetings with Process Owners to capture and address issues/improvements within critical business processes.
About you
You are an exceptional communicator who excels at building relationships, even with the most challenging and change-resistant stakeholders. You thrive on the challenge of transforming resistance into collaboration. You prefer face-to-face interactions and conduct follow-ups to ensure people meet their deadlines and commitments. You maintain a calm and composed demeanour when facing challenges or uncertainty, such as when stakeholders raise questions or concerns about the project that you cannot immediately answer. Self-motivated and organized, you are adept at managing your tasks and responsibilities efficiently to ensure that projects stay on track and meet their objectives.
Required Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Project Management, Management Engineering, IT Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional improvement projects.
Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) and their impact on business processes.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
PRINCE2 certification or equivalent (e.g., PMP).
Experience in working with business process mapping (e.g., flow charts or value stream mappings) and Business Process Model & Notation (BPMN).
Ability to work with data to support process analysis and decision-making (e.g., using Power BI, Excel, or similar tools).
As part of a global organization, the ability to speak and write English is a prerequisite.
