The position is a full-time role located at the manufacturing plant in San Bonifacio (Verona).

As a Quality Engineer - ASME Orders, your main objective is to guarantee full quality, regulatory, and documentation compliance for all production orders bound by ASME standards. You will ensure strict adherence to customer specifications, construction codes, and internal processes across the entire project lifecycle—from the initial contract review to final product delivery.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead Project Quality Management by digging into technical and regulatory requirements during the order review phase. You will act as a key internal partner for project management, production, purchasing, and logistics teams to keep everyone aligned on ASME expectations.

For Controls and Inspections, you will design and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and coordinate all inspection milestones. A major part of your day-to-day work involves managing critical interfaces with Authorized Inspectors (AI), Authorized Inspection Agencies (AIA), clients, and Third-Party Inspectors. Additionally, you will drive Supplier Management by helping vendors involved in these orders step up to the required quality benchmarks.

Core Operational Activities

Your daily routine will bridge the office and the shop floor. During project kick-offs, you will translate quality requirements into comprehensive Quality Plans.

You will be responsible for:

  • Verifying material certificates.
  • Reviewing WPS, PQR, and brazing operator qualifications.
  • Coordinating witness and hold points directly on the shop floor.
  • Managing external audits conducted by inspection agencies.
  • Overseeing the final documentation compilation, including Manufacturer's Data Reports and Data Books.
