Senior HR Partner Comp & Benefits
Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.
As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.
About us
The HR Shared Service Center is the engine of all our HR processes, policies and tools. Our mission is to drive business success through people: “When people are growing, the business is growing” is our motto. In order to achieve this, we are building one integrated HR organization built on common processes, acting as close to our customers as possible.
Alfa Laval is on the journey of a step-wise rolling out of Shared Services within the group, a journey that we estimate will take a number of years. We have today 6 HR Shared Service Centers, spread across the globe, working with HR-related matters and providing the foundation for developing the HR related support for our employees.
And here is where you come in!
About the role
This role is part of HR Shared Services and in addition to Employee Relations, we have teams working with Learning and Development, Payroll and HR Support. You will be also supported by another colleague within Senior HR Partner within Compensation & Benefits. In this function, we are an important support to our HR colleagues/HRBPs in more complex matters within employment law and compensation and benefit issues. You will also be an important part of the team's ongoing development work with the processes within each area, especially in Denmark and Sweden with a possibility to expand into Norway in the later future.
Main responsibilities:
This position is based in Lund and may include travel to other Alfa Laval facilities in Denmark & Sweden to collaborate with managers and HR Business Partners. You will report to the HR Service Center Manager Scandinavia, who is also based in Lund.
Who you are
To succeed in the role, you see both possibilities and the whole picture and its components in the different processes. You have high integrity and are confident in your professional role, while at the same time being unpretentious and willing to pitch where your team needs you. You are good at listening and translating what you hear into action within the given framework. You are a good communicator and think strategically to develop our processes in the best possible way.
What you know
You have a relevant academic degree in HR or equivalent and have worked for a minimum of 5 years in a similar role. You have previously worked as a specialist or generalist in larger organizations. If you are not a specialist today, you have a goal to develop and specialize in at least two of the areas of employment law, and compensation/benefits. You can express yourself easily in English, both spoken and written. Danish or Swedish is a merit. It is a merit if you have previous experience of working with the Teknikavtalet Swedish collective bargaining agreement) or the Danish equivalent of the same.
What we offer
We offer a challenging and rewarding position in an open and friendly environment where we help each other develop and create value. Your work will have a real impact on Alfa Laval's future success.
