Who you are:
- In line with the strategies of BU HFH and COM and the initiatives of handshake of the Year, to implement and develop the best supplier based solutions regarding the safety, quality, delivery, cost of goods/services delivered to HFH and in line with Alfa Laval's sourcing processes. Ensure compliance with Alfa Laval's operating principles and achieve the department's objectives.
About the job:
General
Cost Reduction initiative
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and proactively drive projects for cost reduction (PI) to fulfil saving target.
- Support new product development and localization sourcing activities in HFH BU;
- Aligning supply chain with global COM strategy and continuously optimize supplier base;
Supplier quality and continuously improvement
- Follow up supplier actions for claims and support them to improve continuously;
- PIM/Pre-PIM follow up weekly.
Supplier delivery and lead time
- Monitor supplier DOT closely and find out the cause of GAP for improvement;
- Leadtime/MOQ accuracy analysis and update;
- Stock agreements review regularly.
Compliance & Sustainability
- Follow up supplier's actions on deviations find in supplier audit;
- Supply constraints risk mitigation planning.
- Drive sustainability projects with suppliers.
System maintenance
- Ensure the accuracy and validity of system data related to HFH sourcing (eg, ERP, Jakamo…).
What you know:
- The ideal candidate should have University education background; mechanical major is preferred. *Familiar with various manufacturing processes such as stainless-steel casting and carbon steel casting, forging, sheet metal, machining, etc.
- With 5-10 years sourcing or relevant working experience within manufacturing environment, mechanical technical background.
- Familiar with LSS, Project management and PPAP, proficient in using excel tools.
- Strong learning and data analysis ability, able to independently deal with problems in the work and make quick judgments and decisions.
- Good negotiation skill with certain economic and legal knowledge.
- Be able to quickly identify potential cost reduction opportunities in the work.
- Result-driven and ability to work under pressure.
- Good teamwork ability, willing to challenge complex tasks at work.
- Excellent communication skills in written and oral in English is a must.
- Always act and behave in accordance with Alfa Laval Business Principles.
