Business Unit Food Systems supplies state-of-the-art solutions for processing food and beverage products. Our solutions are skid-mounted modules, process units and complete production lines, based on Alfa Laval’s key technologies, engineered to our customers’ needs. All modules and systems are project managed, engineered, sourced, supplied and commissioned by our global Engineering & Supply team, working out of eight offices across the world. Procurement plays a key role in delivering competitive solutions to our customers globally.

About the job

The overall objective is to improve supplier compliance with new and existing suppliers. As Supplier Contract Lead you will work closely with the Supplier Contract & Compliance Manager to bring suppliers into full compliance by ensuring required documents and registrations in our supplier management system as well as in the local ERP system. Continuous improvement is our way of working, and you will play a key role in making our supply base stronger for the future. Primary tasks include:

• Approve suppliers according to Alfa Laval processes.

• Support suppliers in submitting the right data and documents.

• Challenge suppliers on sustainability and quality.

• Manage supplier data compliance.

• Ensure correct registration in our systems.

This is a temporary position, starting when we have found the right candidate, until 31st of October.

What you know

You have a commercial background with relevant procurement experience from an international company. Experience with supplier contracts will be a plus.  You have experience from handling international suppliers, basic legal understanding, and ability to read and understand supplier contracts. Excellent English language skills, both verbally and in writing.
