About The Job
We are looking for a strong technical commercial manager to lead our global engineering and supply organization that consist of around 800 employees on 7 sites around the world. Your job is to manage, develop and lead the organization and make sure that the organization, in collaboration with the sales organization, prepare competitive proposals and deliver our projects on-time, on specification and on budget. You are responsible for the global functions, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Commissioning & Service and Q&A as well as our E&S sites in Brazil, USA, Italy, India, Malaysia and China.
You will be leading, energizing and motivating a global team, having a high focus on our customers and working with competitiveness, efficiency and quality in mind. Work procedures and tools to support development of our global business is an integral part of the job as well as forecasting, resource planning and risk assessment of projects. The role has 13 direct reports which require both face-to-face and virtual leadership.
The position is based at our Copenhagen office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately around 60 days per year. You will be reporting to the Business Unit President of Food Systems and member of BU Food Systems management team.
What You Know
You hold a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or another relevant technical and/or commercial discipline. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate education is an advantage. You bring extensive international experience in project-based businesses, with a proven track record in contract management, customer negotiations, and leading cross-functional teams. You have successfully developed and executed business strategies, and you are confident working in complex, global environments. Your leadership style is direct and transparent, with a strong drive to win and deliver results through collaboration and accountability.
