About the job

As a Product Line Officer, you will be responsible for product data quality in the common sales tools for BHE (Brazed plate heat exchangers), FHE (Fusion-bonded plate heat exchangers), GTL (Gas To Liquid heat exchangers) and ALICS (Alfa Laval Integrated Cooling Systems) with the broader aim to secure product competitiveness and make the products easy to sell.

• Implement and maintain products in the sales tools and technical documentation, and make them available for configuration and sales throughout the life cycle and below processes.
  • Product care (PC),
  • NPD (new product development)
  • EPD (existing product development)
  • Phase out
  • Annual Top Item Review
  • Extras for both BHE and FHE
  • Product leaflets
  • Instruction manual
  • Quotation drawings
• Testing and analyzing product data, prices, configurability and availability.
• Maintain product taxonomy in InOrigo.
• General ownership of items and their life cycle in the systems.
  Interact with Digital Sales Tools for system development needs (Requester).
• Maintain product information pages on Share
• Product image coordinator
• Support sales with item related questions and issues regarding BHE and FHE, where APS are not able to support
• Responsible for implementation of the yearly PPL update for BHE and FHE
• Create and maintain BIM Objects
• Coordinate product related documents in Anytime, e.g. installation guidelines, certificates
• Responsible for product information and descriptions in various documents on share and in sales tools relating to e.g. in Product Nomenclature information Leaflet (ppt), ASME approved products (ppt), Insulations (ppt), Marine products (ppt, together with Marine Division)
• Maintain competitor product database in Inorigo

What you know

Qualifications & experience:

• Technical background with a Masters in desired field
• Good product knowledge
• Good market knowledge
• Good level of spoken and written English is required
• IS / IT skills is an advantage.
• Experience from operation and/or R&D is an advantage
