About the job

As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible to support the service sales business for HVAC heat exchangers. You will be responsible for managing designated customer accounts and channels, contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is a Hybrid opportunity located in Richmond, VA.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Be responsible for managing customer accounts in the Southeast Region.
  • Follow established sales processes to promote and sell Alfa Laval Products and services
  • Look for and manage leads from the market to convert them into real business opportunities, growing and securing the projects pipeline.
  • Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behavior; make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets.
  • Develop transactional, complex and value service quotes for the GPHE Equipment Service Team, stressing the unique selling points.
  • Actively follow up the quote in order to understand if the proposed value is understood and if it is matching the customer needs.
  • Provide support to customer during the quotation process.
  • Use the CRM tool and other tools to support the sales process.
  • Drive and implement improvement projects that increase team efficiency.
  • Travel up to 25%.

What you know:

You have bachelors degree, engineering or business preferred, and you:

  • At least three years experience preferred within the following industries: Process equipment suppliers to the dairy, food, or pharmaceutical processing industries. Dairy, food, oil & gas, mining, datacenters, refrigeration, HVAC, or pharmaceutical processors (end-users).
  • Experience handling quotations and customer communication
  • Strong customer service orientation and sense of urgency
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skillset
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, specifically strong excel skills
