Background
Alfa Laval Mid Europe is responsible of sales, marketing, and service across Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Together with you, we will continue to create the ultimate customer experience. We have around 240 employees with our Head Quarters based in Hamburg, Germany.

About the job
As Managing Director for Mid Europe, you are responsible for overseeing and leading the sales and service operations on a global scale. This role involves strategic planning, setting goals, and ensuring the effective execution of sales and service initiatives to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

The transformation has started, and you will be joining us to keep moving it forward.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Business drive: Keen interest in driving transformation while having the customer in mind.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategies to expand the company's global sales and services footprint.
  • Efficiency: Own the continuous improvement process in the organisation with a strong focus on the market.
  • Market Expansion: Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for market growth in various international markets, especially our Food & Water and Energy divisions.
  • Revenue Generation: Meeting or exceeding global sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Adaptability: Navigating and adapting to the challenges of diverse global markets, including cultural differences and varying business practices.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and managing a team of sales and service professionals across Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Ensuring strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality services and products.

You will play a crucial role in shaping the company's international presence and ensuring its success in a competitive global marketplace.

This role is based in Hamburg and reports to the Norther Europe Cluster President and Managing Director Nordic, Patricio Lezica.

What you know
Proven track record as a senior leader in a global context (preferably with experience in the DACH region), and strong knowledge of the German market. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building strong, lasting relationships. Demonstrated passion for driving growth initiatives and expanding market presence.

Strategic mindset, capable of translating vision into actionable plans with a customer-centric focus. Proven track record of leading and driving change and business transformation.
