Main responsibility of the position :

  • Oversee planning, procurement, order handling, inventory coordination, and warehouse management to ensure smooth material and information flow through the factory.
  • Secure the team’s daily operational performance, while continuously improving processes, implementing Lean principles, and increasing efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of five professionals to reach high performance, competence growth, and engagement.
  • Manage both short-term operational priorities (daily deliveries, on-time performance) and long-term strategic initiatives (S&OP, Lean implementation, MRP system migration).
     
Main responsibility of the position:
  • Oversee the full scope of supply chain activities, including demand forecasting, procurement, order handling, inventory coordination, and warehouse management to ensure a seamless material and information flow.
  • Monitor and manage daily supply chain execution to ensure on-time delivery, accuracy, and responsiveness in line with customer and production requirements.
  • Ensure a high-performing customer service process by maintaining close coordination with production and sales teams to meet customer commitments and improve satisfaction levels.
  • Lead a team of five professionals by setting clear goals, providing coaching and feedback, developing competence, and fostering a culture of ownership, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the implementation of Lean concepts and flow-based methods in supply chain processes, aligning with the factory’s Lean manufacturing lines and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Lead the Sales and Operations Planning process to balance demand and supply, ensuring alignment between market forecasts, production plans, and inventory targets.
  • Play a key role in strategic development programs, including MRP system migration (planned for 2027), digitalization of order flows, and standardization of global supply chain practices.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to shorten lead times, optimize inventory levels, improve delivery reliability, and increase customer satisfaction.

Key tasks:
  •  Maintain compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and quality standards, ensuring that all supply chain activities follow the established WHE business principles.
  • Work closely with Planning, Production, Sales, Quality, and Logistics functions to align priorities, resolve bottlenecks, and achieve end-to-end operational excellence.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities in supply chain management, leveraging data, analytics, and Lean tools to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Strengthen process capability and scalability of the supply chain to support higher production volumes and future business growth.
  • Promote a culture of safety and integrity, ensuring all supply chain activities are conducted with the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
  • Actively contribute to local management team decisions, representing supply chain priorities in factory strategy, resource planning, and performance reviews.
  • Develop close collaboration with market organizations to better understand customer needs, enhance service levels, and strengthen the link between customer demand and factory execution.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a global industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of leading and transforming supply chain operations and implementing new processes or systems.

Abilities, Knowledge and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge and experience in S&OP, Lean methods, and end-to-end supply chain optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written); additional language is a plus.
  • Used to work in ERP system environments e.g. Endeavor D365
  • Strong leadership qualities with integrity, accountability, and a sense of urgency.
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational capability.
  • Ability to lead change, challenge existing methods, and implement improvement initiatives at the Office and Gemba.
  • Committed to teamwork, customer orientation, and employee development.
