About the job

Are you passionate about innovation and eager to make a real impact on sustainable production? As our Vibration Monitoring Specialist at Alfa Laval, you’ll be at the forefront of our Clariot Condition Monitoring service, helping to take our 24/7 monitoring solution for rotating equipment to the next level. Our ambitions go beyond monitoring of only machine health to also cover root causes like installation and process issues.

Join a dynamic team where your expertise will drive product development and customer success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Translating real-life machine problems into vibration data and vice versa
  • Developing and refining analytics models for specific equipment types
  • Collaborating with customers, development engineers and technical support to identify failure modes and critical components
  • Testing and validating solutions in our in-house innovation center and leveraging data from our extensive installed base
  • Providing technical support to our commercial team and customers, resolving complex vibration-related issues
  • Feeding learnings from monitored equipment into continuous improvements for our monitoring service
  • Supporting the expansion of our monitoring capabilities to new equipment types and deeper failure mode detection
  • Working closely with a startup-like, collaborative team that values learning and innovation

The position is based in our office in Kolding. We expect a travel commitment of approximately 20 days per year.

What You Know

  • Background as Reliability Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Bachelor in Technology Management, maintenance engineer, process engineer or other technical background
  • Hands-on experience applying vibration knowledge in the field and/or in development projects, could be certified (cat III or IV)
  • Strong interest in new technologies and their application in digital services
  • Ability to communicate technical insights clearly to both colleagues and customers
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, Danish is preferable.
  • Experience with condition monitoring solutions and services

Who You Are

You’re a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You value diversity and inclusion, and you’re eager to learn from others while sharing your own expertise. Adaptable and open-minded, you embrace new challenges and are motivated by making a positive impact. You believe in continuous growth, both for yourself and the solutions you help create. Your curiosity and drive for excellence inspire those around you.
