What will you do? The Food & Water Division employs over 6,000 people and covers a wide range of markets, technologies, and industries across the Food, Water, and Pharma sectors. As a dynamic division with a new strategic initiative being launched soon, we are seeking a skilled Communications Consultant to help us effectively communicate these internally and externally. A key focus in the first year will be to develop the communication plans needed and implement the identified communication activities for a behavioral and cultural change. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Launch communication strategy: Secure a holistic and transparent communication strategy. Develop communication and messaging processes and platforms aimed at internal and external target groups.
• Launch communication execution: Create and manage engaging content for internal communications, including webinars, townhalls, roadshows, and newsletters, workshops etc. Coordinate and execute internal events to inform and motivate employees about ongoing divisional efforts. Drive the alignment and roll-out of the launch across Alfa Laval.

• Change Communications: Sustain the new initiative launch by developing communication materials to showcase our sustainability journey with customers in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and water sectors. Use storytelling to make changes tangible and support organizational upskilling and mindset shifts.
• External Communications: Update and revise existing external communications materials to reflect the new initiative. Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment.
• Advisor: Act as a communication partner, coach, and advisor to various stakeholders to define and enable their communication needs and goals.
• Storytelling: Leverage strong storytelling and writing skills to align with strategic and sustainability goals.
• Intranet Management: Continuously update and manage intranet content, publishing news as needed.
• Editorial Coordination: Ensure alignment between internal and external messaging through active participation in the editorial process.
• Agility: Adapt flexibly to handle tasks beyond the described scope as needed for special projects.

Skills we are looking for:

• Excellent native-level English writing and communication skills, with the ability to complement written and visual communication assets.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Creative and strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail.
• Superior PowerPoint skills.
• Digital savvy with a thirst for learning more. Prior experience with Microsoft SharePoint is preferred.
• Prior experience in a large international company or matrix organization.
• Video creation skills are a bonus but not a necessity.
