Global Process Owner Employee Life cycle processes

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

Alfa Laval is on the journey of a stepwise rolling out of Shared Services within the group, a journey that we estimate will take a few years. We have today 6 HR Shared Service Centers, spread across the globe, working with HR-related matters and providing the foundation for developing the HR related support for our employees.

To support this strategic direction, we are looking for a Global Process Owner for Employee Life Cycle Processes—a role that blends deep understanding of HR processes, automation, and continuous improvement as well as technical understanding of our tools like Workday.

About the job

Are you passionate about shaping the future of HR processes and driving transformation in a global organization? At Alfa Laval, as the Global Process Owner of Employee Life cycle processes, your responsibilities will be divided into three main areas:

  • Design and streamline global and local end to end employee life cycle processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and creating workflows that enable automation both within our human capital management system Workday but also robotic process automation, AI and other available tools.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives that drive efficiency, cost reduction, and enhanced service delivery to support the HR Shared service transformation agenda.

  • Work closely with the IT value stream, HR shared service functions and managers, the transformation lead and external vendors to ensure successful change management, process and technology rollouts.

Who are you

We seek an individual who thrives on accountability and results. You like new ways of working, able to translate business needs into technical solutions, and take responsibility for end-to-end global process development—both existing and new. Your networking and collaboration skills are exceptional, and you communicate with clarity and confidence.

What you know

Your profile combines HR process ownership with technical acumen. You bring a results-driven mindset, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to connect across teams and cultures.
