About the job
As our new Global Technical Specialist, you will be the first-line technical support for emergency cases and planned services by email or phone for our marine customers and sales companies.
Your main tasks involve:
Remote troubleshooting, identification, and analysis of the problem.
Acts as a technical planner for troubleshooting tasks in coordination with our Global Marine Coordinator to fine-tune tasks in terms of needed, skills, tools, additional parts, and timing of work.
Identification of ISE skills, tools, spare parts & equipment needed on board.
Creation of service requests in our CRM system.
Ability to handle all major products and applications at least within one Business Unit.
Quality check of reports and documentation of all performed service tasks.
Support for claim handling.
1 week of the month will be on call or email for ISE and marine customers.
About you
As a person, you are curious by nature and exceptional at solving problems and you enjoy working in a fast-paced international environment with exciting challenges. You have a strong technical interest, effective decision-making abilities, and a willingness to collaborate across functions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marine-, mechanical-, or electrical engineering, or a related field, with a solid understanding of technology and maritime installations.
Strong system understanding of software and PLC solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on maritime experience.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
