The Administrative assistant at Alfa Laval plays an essential role in supporting our Alfa Laval team and ensuring smooth operations across various departments. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact. This is a hybrid position located in Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities include:
Manage daily administrative tasks, including processing invoices, scheduling meetings and conferences, and organizing legal and tax documents.
Coordinate team meetings and events and prepare agendas.
Assist in project management by tracking deadlines and facilitating communication.
Handle expense reporting, invoicing, and basic accounting tasks.
Liaise with vendors and clients, providing excellent customer service.
Maintain office supplies and manage inventory.
Supports Executive team in any other tasks that might be deemed necessary.
Helps with the organization of company internal events and other events led by the marketing team.
What you know:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
2 years of experience as Administrative assistant.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time without jeopardizing quality and attention to detail.
Has a helpful attitude and willingness to learn new areas of business.
Strong collaborative approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What’s in it for you?
At Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine your total compensation package. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job, background, skills, and experience to get it right. The base salary for this role is typically $60,000.00 to $70,000.00.
