About the job
The Alfa Laval Career Pathways Program is designed to launch new college graduates into a dynamic, 9-month immersive experience that prepares them for long-term success at Alfa Laval. Participants receive extensive training across our products, industries, and functions within all four divisions, while building a strong internal network that supports their future placement within the company.
Candidates must be willing to relocate to Houston, TX; Indianapolis, IN; Kenosha, WI; Warminster, PA; Richmond, VA. Relocation will be provided.
As a part of the team, you will:
Learn the products, markets, tools, and functions across all Alfa Laval Divisions
Collaborate on group projects designed to deepen your understanding and impact
Upon successful completion, transition into a full-time role that may include:
Generating proposals for equipment and projects
Engaging with business development, sales, service, operations, finance, legal, and external channels
Acting as a technical resource for products and industry applications
Participating in lab and pilot testing of Alfa Laval equipment
Managing project portfolios and tracking data in CRM systems
Building relationships with process support, project management, and product specialists
Reviewing and managing purchase orders and ensuring milestone delivery
Conducting business and market analysis to support sales and marketing strategies
What you know:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or technical field and:
Curiosity and a drive to share new ideas
Strong technical acumen and problem-solving ability
Ability to interpret technical data from multiple sources
Proven customer service orientation and communication skills
Team player mindset
Knowledge of heat transfer, rotating equipment, or fluid separation/filtration is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft tools
Estimated travel during program: 40–50%
Ability to travel domestically and potentially internationally

What’s in it for you?
At Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine your total compensation package. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job, background, skills, and experience to get it right. The base salary for this role is typically $75,000.
