About the Role
At Alfa Laval, you’ll join a diverse Automation Group where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds in a supportive environment. You’ll be involved in projects from start to finish, supporting sales, managing project execution, and ensuring successful handovers after commissioning. Here, you’ll have the chance to develop into a specialist, particularly in designing and commissioning of advanced control panel systems, all while growing your skills and making a real impact. Your key responsibilities include (But are not limited to):
Handling of the electrical part of several mid and large size projects at the same time in accordance with time schedule and budget established by the main Project Manager.
Carry out electrical engineering which includes specification of complete systems, control-, starter - and HMI-panels, cabling, necessary technical documentation, O&M manuals and FAT of the ordered items.
Specification of RFQ for the control panels based on input from Process and Automation engineers.
Specify all parts of an electrical system for components, systems and plants.
Participate in proposal and sales work.
Ensure cost optimization on projects by optimizing design, procurement etc.
Support start-up, commissioning and troubleshooting either remote or on site.
At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is at our Copenhagen office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 40 days per year.

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering/Maskin Mester, or AP Graduate (El-installatør).
Hands-on experience in electrical systems, designing control panels, utilization of electrical CAD systems, preferably E-plan.
Proficient with engineering software (e.g., EPLAN) and familiarity with industry standards like IEC and ATEX.
