About the job
Join our Agro & Protein Engineering team at Alfa Laval, where you’ll support the design of systems and plants that shape the future of food and protein processing. As a Student Assistant, you’ll collaborate with Process, Mechanical, and Design Engineers on both internal and customer projects.
Your tasks will vary, offering you a broad perspective on engineering work:
Support engineering activities such as generating mass and energy balances, preparing equipment lists, and drafting specifications.
Work on P&IDs and functional design specifications for processing plants and systems.
Participate in commissioning and performance tests and assist in troubleshooting.
Help with project documentation, from technical drawings to manuals.
Contribute to improving project information management by creating databases or SharePoint solutions.
The position starts on June 16, 2025, and offers you the chance to gain hands-on experience in a truly international and collaborative environment.

What you know
You are a Chemical Engineer currently studying your Master’s degree. You have at least one year left in your studies.
You have a strong interest in process design, and ideally some academic or hands-on experience in this area.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
