As our Data Centre Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in setting up the strategies for our energy efficient data center solutions. This role combines market insight, strategic sales, and close collaboration with customers to drive growth across one of the world’s fastest-moving industry segments.
Key responsibilities
Develop and deliver sales strategies and positioning for advanced data centre cooling and heat exchange solutions with a focus on Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers
Support our sales companies with the full sales process – from new lead generation to successful project close
Build lasting relationships with data centre operators, consultants, contractors, integrators and strategic accounts
Spot growth opportunities and emerging trends in the data centre market
Responsible for long term forecast based on market intelligence
Actively support sales companies with negotiation of legal and commercial agreements for larger global key accounts
Monitor industry progress and competitors to stay ahead of market developments
Represent Alfa Laval at key events and industry forums
Ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships built on trust
Achieve defined sales goals and maintain a transparent pipeline overview
This position will be based in Lund and will report to the Head of Data Centers. For this role you will be required to travel approx. 40 – 50 days / year internationally.

What you know
Well-proven and solid experience (5+ years) in sales in an international environment towards large customers. Preferably you have experience within data centre cooling and/or heat transfer technology
Sound technical understanding of cooling systems or heat exchangers
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
A collaborative mindset and comfort working with international teams
Fluency in English both written and spoken
