About the job

As an integral member of our team, you will helps customers with technical operational issues by operating the  Digital Solution Center (together with Digital Service Coordinators) and executing services according to digital service catalogue on specific products, modules and systems. You will contribute to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is a Hybrid opportunity located in Greenwood, Indiana.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Be responsible for executing and providing technical support to the customer: remote commissioning, installation inspection, testing, repairing and maintaining as well as condition monitoring and energy audits on products, modules and systems, at the customer site and remotely
  • Help customers to identify the needs, and perform remote troubleshooting, identification, and analysis of the customer’s equipment problem.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer equipment technical problems remotely
  • Monitor the connected equipment and proactively support customers and prepare monthly status reports.
  • Receive training and deploy a customer centric experience, give feedback to service sales team and continuously improve the customer interaction in the digital arena.
  • Prepare service reports with observations & recommendations based on digital services provided to customers.
  • Support field service technicians performing field service at customer site.
  • Communicate equipment related changes and technical upgrade to customer.
  • Train customers on product and operation of equipment remotely.
  • Report unsafe practices, incidents, and work for continuous improvement.
  • Work with the marketing team to promote Digital Services.
  • Proactive service advice to customers relating to the 360 service portfolio. Identify upgrade opportunities and communicate to sales organization.
  • Be able to work weekends on a rolling schedule if required.
  • Travel up to 25% for training and team meetings

What you know:

You have High School Diploma/GED, Bachelors/Associates degree in a technical field a plus, and:

  • 2+ years of field service or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment’s / Heat Transfer / fluid equipment’s a plus
  • Experience on Control Panels commissioning & automation/electrical troubleshooting
  • Working experience on process instrumentations, such as flow/pressure/temperature sensors
  • Familiar with VFD drives operation, Commissioning/troubleshooting of VFDs
  • Knowledge on different types of PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradely, and B & R) their communication protocols, Remote communication process
  • Working experience on different types of Motors and starters
  • Personal drive and strong commitment to achieve assigned goals
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
