In Business Unit Circular Separation Technologies, we are committed to separation solutions to make a sustainable difference. With our thermal and mechanical separation technologies we help our customers in traditional heavy and light industries reach their NetZero targets through recycling of water as well as reduction and recovery of valuable materials from waste. Additionally, we are supporting customers with process evaporation solutions for their core processes. Our ambition is to expand substantially, and we are now looking for a dedicated sales & business developer that shares our values and ambition to put Alfa Laval’s cleantech evaporation solutions on the global map.
The position is in Lund and/or Copenhagen and requires 60-70 traveling days per year. For the right candidate, other locations are possible.
Who you are
We are looking for a sales profile with a hands-on business development/sales approach who wants to be part of leading this business growth. You are proactive and thrive at interacting and building business relations on many levels in the customer organization. You are organized and structured to keep several trails in parallel and successfully follow through without losing track. A team player comfortable working cross organization and cultures in a truly international environment.
About the job
As Global Sales & Business Development for Cleantech Evaporation your main tasks include to:
Develop network of sales partners in the industry
Drive sales plans together with sales companies for your regions
Actively drive lead generation directly with potential customers globally and through our sales companies
Proactively drive development of sales pipeline
Together with the sales companies, support/drive the commercial and technical negotiations with customers to close orders
A big part of your work will involve interfacing with other Alfa Laval functions globally, such as Sales Companies and Engineering, to make teamwork happen
You report to the Global Sales Manager Cleantech Evaporation.
What you know
We believe you are a seasoned hands-on sales professional with the capability to work with commercial development of opportunities.
You possess several years of technical-commercial experience, preferably linked to project sales within ZLD, industrial water treatment processes, circular economy or recycling in an international setting. Further, you have successfully worked with development of sales via channels/partners.
You have experience of working in a matrix organization and understand how to manage the customer journey also with indirect responsibilities.
You have a graduate degree in engineering, business, or similar.
Besides working experience, we believe that you are passionate about sustainability and like to constantly grow your knowledge.
Excellent communication skills, and fluent written and spoken English is a requirement.
