About the job

Global Service Sales

  • Søborg
  • Full time

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the job

As Global Service Sales, you will drive service sales development and profitability in close collaboration with sales companies worldwide. Your key tasks will be:

  • Developing and executing strategies to expand the decanter service business and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Leading and supporting service concepts and projects with customers, sales companies, and business unit colleagues.

  • Analyzing the installed base and identifying growth opportunities.

  • Optimizing pricing and sales strategies in collaboration with equipment sales and sales companies.

  • Engaging with international key accounts to strengthen partnerships.

  • Enhancing competence development in product, application, and service knowledge.

At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, offering flexibility to work remotely when tasks allow. This position is based at our Søborg office in Copenhagen, Denmark, with 30 - 45 days of travel per year.

What You Know

You have a strong understanding of food industries (vegetable protein, plant-based drinks, brewery, pharmaceutical and biotech, fish, meat and insect protein, starch, coffee and tea, sugar and bioethanol, fruit and vegetables, or similar) or wastewater processes (wastewater treatment, compressed biogas, potable water, thermal hydrolysis, or similar). Ideally, you have experience in selling process equipment and services to these industries. Additionally, you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in process industries (food, wastewater) or an industrial sales/service role.

  • University degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental, food, or similar).

  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with experience in sales development.

  • Ability to manage projects, drive initiatives, and coordinate across a global organization.

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.

  • Experience in decanter technology, maintenance, or B2B service sales is a plus.

Who You Are

You are a strategic and results-driven professional with strong relationship-building and influencing skills. You thrive in a global setting, enjoy collaborating across different teams, and can adapt quickly to market needs. Your ability to analyze business challenges, connect stakeholders, and drive initiatives makes you a key player in service sales growth. Additionally, your high level of ownership and problem-solving mindset allow you to navigate complex situations effectively. You have a good balance between commercial and technical and are very process driven. You enjoy being involved with technical discussions and possess strong motivation for continued growth in this area

What’s in it for you

You’ll have the opportunity to grow your career in a global environment, with career advancement opportunities both within and beyond the decanter business. You’ll join an international and collaborative team, where synergy and teamwork are key. Plus, you’ll have the chance to lead and contribute to impactful projects in areas such as sustainability, data analytics, and AI.

Our company values innovation, professional development, and a healthy work-life balance, providing you with an environment that nurtures both your career growth and personal well-being.
