About the Role
As the manager of Test & Innovation Center, you are responsible for the team carrying our various performance testing of all types of membranes to ensure sufficient and reliable test and verification of products in a cost and time efficient manner including customer tests.
As part of the responsibilities, you are expected to develop procedures and equipment to achieve efficient verification of products accordingly with required legislation. It will be your task to plan and maintain testing capacities and resources to fulfil requirements from internal stakeholders and external stakeholders e.g. Third Party Notified Bodies
You will be responsible for attracting, retaining, and developing the right competencies in the team to secure relevant performance testing for the products in scope can be carried out. As manager of the team, you are also expected to take on an operational role, carrying out part of the performance tests.
The position is based in Nakskov where -you will report to the Head of Membrane and Managing Director. We expect the travel activity to be 30-50 days a year.
What you know
To succeed in the role, you have minimum 10 years of experience from similar position or other relevant background within membrane technology. You bring substantial experience from test environments, preferably polymer membrane – preferably also food knowledge. You have outstanding leadership skills and strong ability to inspire and build high performing teams. Ideally, you hold a master’s degree in chemical engineering with deep membrane technical knowledge and are proficient in English as your primary working language.
