About The Job
As a Product & Application Engineer you are a key person to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. You have a strong service culture. You are motivated by customer relations, results, continuous improvement, and have excellent people and communication skills.
Job Description
The primary focus of the role will be responsible for providing technical solution in a complex customer project working together with the sales and service team, on specific Alfa Laval product or application.
Provide training on products and applications for our channel partners and Alfa Laval internal sales people.
Working with our channel partners to optimize P&ID solutions.
Support our channel partners by selling in Alfa Laval products to end users.
Trouble shooting and claim support.
Selection support for Alfa Laval products.
Preparation of material lists.
Liaise with our global portfolio managers to find product solutions.
Regional product launches including launch plans.
Market and competitor insights.
Proposals for new products.
What You Know
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with strong knowledge in heat transfer equipment. Additional knowledge in hygienic pumps & valves will be an added advantage.
P&ID process solution proficiency will be an added advantage.
A basic understanding of the customer process and application in either dairy, food and beverage, Pharma or brewery.
Intermediate or fluent proficiency in English.
Strong mechanical aptitude for assembly/disassembly of test/demo equipment.
Flexibility for occasional traveling across SEA countries.
