Shaping the Future of Modular Product Innovation
As a Product Architect, you will play a pivotal cross‑functional role within our Thermal Solutions Business Unit. You are responsible for creating, maintaining, and continuously improving the product architecture for an entire Product Class. You ensure that the architecture is fit for purpose across the full value chain—from R&D to Service and Supply Chain—and aligned with corporate guidelines and long‑term product strategy.
You will own and govern the product architecture within Thermal Solutions, including:
Product Class structure: Product Classes, Product Types, Nodes, Node structures, Modules, Module Variants, and Module Sets
Feature domains for modules
Modular strategy documentation
You will work closely with PLM and Configuration/Module Design Engineers, Sales Tool Engineers, BU Configuration Officers, BU Configurator Owners, BU PLM Business Officers, Product Managers, and stakeholders across the entire value chain.
Your responsibilities
Develop product architectures for new Product Classes.
Review and approve changes to existing product architectures.
Assess the impact of product architecture and modularization across R&D, Sales, Operations, Service, and Supply Chain.
Define and document module levels in alignment with product strategy.
Chair the cross‑functional Product Architecture Governance Board.
Optimize product architecture complexity versus cost.
Ensure alignment between product architecture, the company’s product roadmap, and market needs.

Ability to translate customer requirements into a future‑state product architecture in collaboration with Product Management.
Understanding of information models and product modularization concepts.
Knowledge of PLM principles.
Ability to drive decisions and influence engineering teams.
A customer‑first mindset focused on user experience and business impact.
Familiarity with agile methodologies, rapid prototyping, and continuous integration/deployment.
