Reporting manager Global Service Technology Manager - Marco Colombo
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our After Sales / Service Division within the Large Service Projects business line. In this role, you will take the lead on key technical activities related to Air Coolers and Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with contractual and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Analysis
Perform technical tasks related to the design, verification, and analysis of pressure equipment.
Conduct mechanical calculations to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Coordination and Documentation:
Review client technical documentation and requirements.
Oversee the preparation and review of subcontractor-provided engineering drawings and calculations.
Prepare and validate detailed engineering documentation, such as Material Requirements Sheets, Mechanical Data Sheets, and Technical Clarifications Sheets.
Subcontractor and Vendor Management:
Coordinate technical activities with subcontractors and vendors.
Monitor progress and quality of supplies from selected vendors post-Purchase Order award.
Optimization and Estimation:
Estimate weight, cost, and performance of each project item.
Optimize technical solutions to achieve cost efficiency while meeting required performance standards.

Competences:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with qualified suppliers of static equipment or EPC companies.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including ASME, API, ANSI, and specifications from major clients.
Proficient in MS Office and mechanical equipment design software (e.g., PV Elite, Compress).
Knowledge of HTRI software for thermal rating calculations is a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English, with fluency required.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to travel domestically or internationally as required.
