Job description: Manage industrial capital equipment projects to meet establish schedule and budget. Support sales personnel in responding to customer requests for commercial and technical information as a part of the bid process for complex industrial machinery including centrifugal separators, membrane systems, filtration systems, mechanical separation equipment, automation and control systems, and related pumps and valves. Secure currency contracts (amounts, timing, etc.) for managed projects. Provide sales project support by participating in sales calls and conference meetings with representatives, distributors, end-users, contractors, engineering houses, and other prospective customers to develop concepts, evaluate customer needs, and further the sales process. Telecommuting available: 3 days per week in office, 2 days per week remote.
Required Travel: 10% travel to customer sites within the US.
Required education, experience, and skills: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in job offered or any position in which the required experience was gained. Prior experience must include the following: (a) 3 years of experience working for an industrial original equipment manufacturer of fluids management and fluids processing equipment in a technical project-related role such as project management or operations; (b) 1 year of experience using MS Project or similar software for project scheduling; (c) 1 year of experience reviewing technical drawings for accuracy and design; (d) 1 year of experience in project finance management or cost development on projects with budgets of $5m+; (e) 1 year of experience interacting directly with external customers.
