About the job
In the role of Process Engineer Service, you carry out process design of systems and plants according to design guidelines and industry standards on development, standardization or customer projects
Your daily tasks are:
Together with the sales group generate mass and energy balance, main equipment list, specification of equipment, P&ID´s and functional design specifications for low level complexity projects.
In cooperation with the project manager, organize and execute the process engineering activities incl. specification of components and instruments.
Detailed design of the P&ID’s based on the Business Unit PFD’s and general process description.
Clarify process strategy and requirements with BID owner and customer.
Participate in external meetings with customers to discuss/clarify process issues and engineering activities.
Participate in commissioning and performance tests and assist in troubleshooting.
Provide optimal process design and provision of detailed information to the bid team.
Assisting with complex service quotes / or troubleshooting (IMS) or root cause analysis
Possibly stand by on complex projects to assist service engineers on board
Going on board ships during installation of complex service orders for support
Depending on the priority, the order of tasks / orders may change
Who you are
You have a technical background and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Our colleagues and customers are situated all over the world and this international environment appeals to you.
Further, you have:
Bachelor in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or comparable.
At least some years relevant working experience, whereas process experience is preferred.
Knowledge of P&ID's.
Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
You like the challenge to work in a multi-disciplinary team in an international environment.
Curious, driven, stress resistant.
