About the job

As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality. As a Quality Technician, you will oversee and monitor the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established company quality standards, the ASME code, and customer contract requirements. Your contributions will be vital to the success and growth of our organization.

This position is in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on materials, parts, and products.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, ASME code, and customer contract requirements.
  • Document and report inspection results.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address quality issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.

What you know:

You have a High school diploma or GED required; college or technical school degree preferred, and:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Heat Exchange Manufacturing Quality Control environment or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to process verbal and written information quickly using solution-solving vocabulary to resolve conflicts.
  • Sense of urgency, proactive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and professional demeanor.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize situations and tasks by importance.
  • Attention to detail, ability to respond to rapidly changing priorities, and manage multiple demands.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 45 pounds occasionally.
  • Job requires walking 60% of the workday.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs).

Environmental Factors:

  • Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical and electrical parts.
  • The noise level in the work environment is often loud.
